Seminar on International Human Rights and Security Forces (HRSF) organized by the International and Security Affairs Centre (ISAC fund) and supported by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Embassy in Belgrade, will be held from September 21 – September 25, 2009, in Leonardo centre, Belgrade.
The Aim of this Seminar is to develop in expanding the knowledge about Core Principles and Rules of International Human Rights Law (IHRL).
Topics to be discussed during this Seminar will include:
- Mechanisms for the Protection of IHRL
- Relation between IHRL and International Humanitarian Law
- Operational of IHRL in International and Internal Security Operations
- Human Rights Protection for Refugees
- Problems of Enforcement IHRL
On this 5-day Seminar participants will be from the Institutions and Organizations which have direct professional interest in this and related fields.
Besides the participants from Serbian Organizations and Institutions, on this Seminar participants will be representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Republic Srpska.
