On May 16, 2009, the group of 18 high school students who participated in the project “Meet Europe in Finland” after their six day stay in Finland, returned to Serbia.
The students had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, The National Board of Education, the Finnish Parliament, the University of Helsinki, a Finnish high school, the former capital city of Finland – Turku, and many other cultural and tourist sights and institutions of Finland.
We would like to thank the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finnish Embassy in Belgrade for their kind support for this project. This is, for now, the second European country which has decided to support this kind of project which offers students in Serbia the opportunity to see and get acquainted with the cultures and institutions of other European countries. We sincerely hope that we will be able to continue to offer such projects in the near future.
