From 16 to 18 April, the ISAC Fund organized a three-day seminar for representatives of parliamentary political parties, with the support of the European Union and the Hans Seidel Foundation.
The seminar brought together 20 politicians from different political parties, aiming to enhance understanding of key foreign policy and security challenges facing Serbia in the contemporary international environment. Particular attention was devoted to Serbia’s strategic position, its relations with the European Union, as well as the stagnation and future prospects of the EU integration process.
Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions, participants explored the future of regional cooperation, Serbia’s role in the Western Balkans, and current hybrid threats that increasingly affect political stability, democratic processes, and public policymaking.
The seminar was designed as a platform for open dialogue and exchange of views among representatives of different political options, with the objective of strengthening the capacity of decision-makers for informed and strategic reflection on Serbia’s foreign policy priorities.
This activity forms part of ISAC Fund’s broader engagement in fostering constructive debate on Serbia’s European future, improving political culture, and enhancing the resilience of institutions and society to contemporary security challenges.
