ISAC organized its annual Media Breakfast at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Belgrade, on November 23, 2021.
On that occasion, the analysis “Vulnerability Index – Serbia” was presented to the participants. This publication is part of a broader regional project “The GLOBSEC Vulnerability Index: Evaluating susceptibility to foreign malign influence in 8 Central European & Western Balkan countries”. The Vulnerability Index measures vulnerability towards foreign influence on a 0-100 scale, where 0 is the most resilient and 100 the most vulnerable. Countries covered by the survey include: Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia and Serbia. The analysis assesses five key dimensions: public attitudes, political landscape, public administration, information landscape, and civic and academic space, with a particular focus directed towards the Kremlin’s and Beijing’s activities.
Besides the presentation of the research results, topics that were discussed included current foreign policy developments and internal political challenges for Serbia.
We would like to thank all the participants for their time and contribution.
