The ISAC Fund organized a workshop on June 2, 2026, at Hotel Moxy in Belgrade, bringing together representatives of parliamentary political parties to discuss the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and the role of the European Union in regional development.
The event gathered representatives of various political parties with the aim of strengthening understanding of EU financial instruments as an important tool of foreign policy, as well as their application in supporting reform processes and economic development across the region. Particular attention was given to the significance and potential impact of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, including its implications for Serbia.
Through presentations and discussions, participants explored different models of EU support to the countries of the region, as well as the ways in which these instruments contribute to accelerating integration processes. The discussion also included a comparative overview of Western Balkan countries in terms of the level of implemented reforms, highlighting differences in the pace of progress and key challenges they face.
The workshop provided a platform for the exchange of views among participants on Serbia’s position in the regional context, as well as on priority steps in the ongoing process of European integration.
This activity is part of the ISAC Fund’s continuous efforts to foster informed dialogue among political actors on European integration, regional cooperation, and Serbia’s strategic positioning.
