Meet Europe in Finland
Due to the great success of the previous projects "Meet Europe in Denmark", ISAC Fund, with the kind support of the Finnish Embassy in Belgrade and the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has started to implement a new project "Meet Europe in Finland". The project will enable 18 students from all over Serbia to spend six days in Finland learning about Finnish institutions, educational system, culture and its people.

The main reason for implementing this project is to continue sending young students from Serbia, who have not had an opportunity to travel outside the region, to travel abroad in order to experience and see other European countries. As Serbia is part of Europe, it is important that the citizens of Serbia, especially the youth, which represent the future of Serbia, are able to expand their understanding of what the European Union actually is and how a country inside the European Union functions

The 18 selected students will travel to Finland May 10 - 16, 2009 and will spend the 6 days in Helsinki. These students were selected from a group of 1,200 applicants who applied in the fall of 2008 for the "Meet Europe in Denmark 2008-2009". The criteria for being selected to travel included excellent grades in school, extra curricular activities and a good knowledge of English.

The following group of students have been selected for the trip:
