ISAC Fund announces the beginning of program “Find out What is NATO in Prague and Brussels 2010”

Based on the previous success of this project, ISAC Fund, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgrade, is for the second time organizing a program for senior high school students under the name “Find Out What is NATO in Prague and Brussels”, from July 5 – 10th, 2010.

The project will allow a group of ten high school students to spend two days in Brussels and three days in Prague, receiving a thorough introduction to NATO and the Partnership for Peace program, of which Serbia is part of. While in Brussels, the students will visit the NATO Headquarters and various national missions to NATO, where they will receive lectures and presentations on what is NATO and how it functions. In Prague, the students will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Parliament Building and non-governmental organizations, where they will have presentations on reasons behind the Czech Republic’s desire to join NATO, its rights and responsibilities as a member and the consequences of membership. The students will also have the opportunity to visit various cultural sites.
